We had planned this trip for playing in the snow, and it was a little disappointing that it had gotten warmer and the snow was melting, but the kids were thrilled.
The last time I visited during the snowy season, there was fresh snow and the powder snow was wonderful, so it was a bit disappointing in comparison, but I still enjoyed it a lot.
It rained on the day we arrived, so we couldn't play outside, but there were plenty of activities inside the building that the kids enjoyed, such as collecting cards, searching for treasure chests, and a stamp rally, so they weren't bored at all.
It's great that there are free things for the kids to enjoy, and it was also nice to see how much they've grown since last time.
There are many families with children in both the restaurants and throughout the hotel, and it's great for families with children because you can relax without worrying about disturbing others. When I'm with just adults, I'd like to try the restaurants that aren't buffet style.
The staff are all very kind and friendly.
Also, as I believe I mentioned last time, I would really like to request the addition of rooms with private hot spring baths.
It's a bit of a distance from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, but there are several shuttle buses available, making it very convenient.
I will visit again in a different season.

This was my sixth time using the service!
We are always very satisfied with our stay. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious, and even our picky eater child enjoys going back to the buffet multiple times to choose what to eat.
It was my first time using the facilities during the snowy season, and although it was cold outside, I was able to enjoy the snowy scenery, which was great.
Every time, the kids look forward to the pool and the craft activities at Popola. The adults relax in the hot springs...we all enjoy our stay at the hotel in a way that suits us.
The staff's service was truly wonderful!
